I love this show
I missed this show when it aired because I was at my Grandmother which does not get the channel, so I ordered it. I loved this show, but will try not to miss another one because I do not want to have too order it.
On Being Imperfect
This is my first time seeing this series, so these are just thoughts from a "virgin." The episode covers two women: one who is having her second child with a married man and another who is living in her mother's house with a husband and a child already.
This show reminds me that nobody is perfect. However, I also couldn't walk in these women's shoes completely because I think they made such huge mistakes. This show has high productions values, but there are many ways in which these two are no different than the mad hatters you see on "Jerry Springer" or "Maury Povich."
The woman getting busy with the married man was pretty, articulate, and had a good job. Don't tell me she can't find a suitable single guy in NYC! Why would you hold a philandering husband in high esteem? If he plays his wife, then why do you think he'd be faithful to you if he weren't married? She said he left her as soon as he learned she was pregnant and yet she still said she loved him...
