The Final Chapter? I Hope Not!
I wasn't aware that the last half of the season had even aired due to the Cartoon Network not promoting the move to Saturday mornings, where it should have been placed in the first place. I just happened to stumble upon "The Birth of the Blades" one Saturday morning.
I grew watching the original series, which can never be replaced, but the new ThunderCats has surpassed all my expectations for a remake. It has great writing, a talented voice-cast, and colorful animation. Unlike the original that mostly focused on Lion-O, the new incarnation has allowed episodes to focus on the other characters, giving them more depth.
I enjoyed watching this two discs set. My favorite episodes from Book three would have to be the two-part finale "What Lies Above." Unfortunately, the season ended in a cliffhanger and the Cartoon Network didn't order a second season. The only hope for a second season lies in the powers of Warner Bros., who own the series.

Seson 2 Please.....
I just finished watching this with my kids and I have to say I was blown away. I've watched many a season of cartoons with my children from Ben-10 to Scooby Doo and this was by far the most satisfying. There is a real plot and the writers have taken time to get the audience invested in the characters. In addition, the animators seem to have taken a lot more chances as the season progressed and the final run of episodes have some really imaginative and clever artwork and framing. In particular, the close up framing of the characters faces from the amazing shots of Mum-Ra to the horrified and shocked faces of Lion-O et al are brilliant and very unusual for a prime-time cartoon. My kids were totally gripped and couldn't believe it when I said that there were no more episodes.
Season 2 please...pronto.
The end of Thundercats is yet to come in the last part! Thundercats, hooo!
It was just great! The final part of this show I love watch. Not only it proves well, but it also ends in a quite good conclusion knowing the character Lion-O is ready to find the last power stone to defeat Mumm-Ra. A very set to 10 episodes drawing you in danger and betrayal:
17. Native Son/18. Survival of the Fittest/19. The Pit/20. Curse of Ratilla/21. Birth of the Blades/22. The Forever Bag/23. Recipe for Disaster/24. The Soul Sever/25. What Lies Above Part 1/26. What Lies Above Part 2
Well, what did I tell you? This is what happens to the show that starts over again. And you wouldn't know a good show if you're watching it. I eventually love the last part of Thundercats. Even a flaw you have to put with is a lack of Blu-Ray refinement. There's not even a second season planned for the show after the cancellation of the entire show. I might recommend this to anyone or a Thundercats fan. Whether or not you'll buy it online, it's up to you.
