Caught and held kindergartners' attention
I spent an evening trying to find a catchy little video about rhyming to download (our school doesn't allow YouTube) for our kindergarten class and ended up finding WordWorld.
The characters are warm and appealing with a computer game appearance that most of them are used to. I loved the approach--"let's make a word/we made a word", that actually creates a needed tool. The humor had them laughing out loud and the audience engagement portions had them calling out answers. Exactly what I like in a video.
Great show!
Definitely a must watch for any child. Teaches spelling, letter sounds and words. The characters are fun and my 3 year old can't get enough of it!
Word World - Back on Track
This entire series is the best video entertainment I have ever seen for children. My grand daughter is two and has been watching since she was 14 months. She can spell words and spot words on signs she learned watching. By far,
her favorite episode is Back on track......
