Sort of a "Ghost Adventures lite"
I never saw this show during its original run on television, but being a fan of Ghost Adventures for a few years now, I was more than happy to pick it up on DVD. The format of the show is simple - two teams of three amateur paranormal investigators are given two hours to explore an area of a reputedly haunted location, during which time they try to collect as much evidence of the paranormal as they can. Once time is up, they switch assigned areas and go again for another two hours. They lock up their findings and equipment overnight, and then reassemble the next day in front of a panel of judges, headed by Zak Bagans and a rotating roster of respected experts within the paranormal research field. Teams are graded on how well they worked together; their knowledge of the location's history and how they integrated that into their "hunting;" their use of technical equipment; and finally, the quality of the audio and visual evidence they present. Whoever impressed the judges the most...
Amazing show!!!
Paranormal Challenge was captivating...we could NOT stop watching it. This is not your typical paranormal show. The judges offer fantastic constructive criticism throughout the entire episode. EVERY investigator should watch for helpful tips.
Paranormal Challenge is the GREATEST PARA SHOW EVER!
If you have not seen this great series from the creator of Ghost Adventures, this is a MUST HAVE for any paranormal fan. To see the best up and coming research teams in the world come together at the most haunted locations in america was an amazing production week after week. The best part for me was seeing all the amazing evidence from each episode. I have simply never heard a better EVP than what was captured in the episode at Rolling Hills Asylum by the ladies of Paranormal Xpeditions.
This is a definitely MUST HAVE! Can't wait til this comes out!
